We collect pregnancy-related information you voluntarily provide, including due date, last menstrual period, daily symptoms, weight logs, kick counts, contraction timings, and appointment details. This data is stored securely to personalise your experience.

Device Information

We may collect device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and app performance purposes.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the app, such as screens visited, features used, and session duration.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide personalised pregnancy tracking and health insights
• Display week-by-week baby development information
• Enable community features and anonymous posting
• Send reminders for appointments and medicine
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase, a Google Cloud service that employs industry-standard encryption both in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest (AES-256). We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We do not store your health data on our own servers. All data synchronisation happens directly between your device and Firebase's secure cloud infrastructure.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We never sell your personal data.

We may share limited information with:

• Firebase (Google): For authentication, real-time database, and analytics
• Apple: For in-app purchases and Apple Sign-In
• Legal authorities: Only when required by law or to protect our rights

Community posts you make are visible to other users. When Secret Chat mode is enabled, your posts appear under a randomly generated alias to protect your identity.

5. Anonymous & Guest Users

You may use Pregsi as a guest without creating an account. Guest users are assigned an anonymous identifier. Guest data is stored locally on your device and may be synced to Firebase anonymously. Guest users cannot post in the community.

6. Children's Privacy

Pregsi is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data at any time through the app
• Correct inaccurate data by updating your profile
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the app. Your continued use of Pregsi after such modifications constitutes your acknowledgement and agreement to the updated policy.
