We collect information you voluntarily provide to deliver personalized tracking, including:

• Menstrual & Ovulation Data: Last menstrual period (LMP), cycle length, ovulation test results, and fertility logs.
• Pregnancy Milestones: Estimated due date, pregnancy week/trimester progress, ultrasound notes, and appointment reminders.
• Daily Health Logs: Logged symptoms, mood tracking, daily water intake, sleep patterns, kick counter records, and contraction timer logs.
• Biometric Calculations: Body weight, height, BMI estimates, and daily caloric targets.

1.3 Apple HealthKit Data (Optional)

If you grant explicit permission, Pregsi integrates with Apple HealthKit to read or write specific health data (such as weight, step counts, and sleep analysis). HealthKit data is processed strictly on-device or synced securely to your private account to personalize your dashboard. We never use HealthKit data for marketing, advertising, or data mining, nor do we sell HealthKit data to third parties.

1.4 Device & Diagnostic Information

We collect standard non-identifying technical data including device model, operating system version, app version, and crash logs to maintain app stability and performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide personalized week-by-week pregnancy tracking, baby development insights, and ovulation forecasts.
• Calculate health metrics (such as BMI classifications and caloric guidelines based on scientific standards).
• Power optional AI-driven wellness assistant features with explicit user consent.
• Send reminders for medications, hydration, appointments, and routine care.
• Facilitate anonymous community discussions and secret chat features.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and provide customer support.

3. Third-Party AI Data Processing & Privacy

Pregsi offers optional AI-powered features (such as the AI Pregnancy & Wellness Assistant and Smart Symptom Guide) to provide helpful educational insights and personalized summaries.

3.1 Third-Party AI Provider

Our educational AI wellness assistant is powered by enterprise AI technology from:

• Google LLC (Google Gemini AI Model / Google Cloud Vertex AI)

3.2 What Data Is Sent to AI Services

When you choose to use an AI feature, only the specific context required to generate an answer is transmitted:

• Data Sent: Your user prompt/question, relevant symptom tags you selected, and current pregnancy week/stage.
• Data NOT Sent: We do NOT transmit your full name, email address, payment credentials, precise GPS location, device serial numbers, or raw HealthKit biometric records to third-party AI providers.

3.3 In-App Disclosure & User Consent

In compliance with Apple App Store Guidelines 5.1.1(i) and 5.1.2(i), Pregsi clearly discloses what data is sent, identifies the AI service provider, and requests your explicit permission before transmitting any data to an AI sub-processor. You may decline or disable AI features at any time in the app settings.

3.4 Equal Protection & No Model Training

All data transmitted to our AI sub-processors is encrypted in transit via TLS/SSL. Under our enterprise data processing agreements with these providers, your data is processed strictly in real-time to generate responses, is not permanently retained, and is never used to train, retrain, or improve public AI models.

4. Health Calculations & Scientific Citations

Pregsi provides health calculation tools to assist in tracking your wellness journey. In accordance with Apple Guideline 1.4.1, all calculations follow established medical and scientific literature:

• Body Mass Index (BMI): Calculated and classified in accordance with the standards published by the World Health Organization (WHO).
• Calorie & BMR Estimates: Calculated using the standard Mifflin-St Jeor Equation (NIH / PubMed PMID: 2305711), adjusted for pregnancy trimesters and activity levels.
• Ovulation & Fertile Window: Estimated based on standard clinical cycle calculations (ACOG and NHS guidelines).

5. Data Storage, Security & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We utilize trusted cloud infrastructure to secure your data:

• Firebase (Google Cloud): Encrypted cloud storage and real-time database employing AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS/SSL encryption in transit.
• Apple App Store: Manages in-app subscriptions and payment processing. We never receive or store your credit card or financial details.
• Legal Compliance: We disclose information only when legally required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.

6. Anonymous Mode & Community Privacy

Pregsi includes an optional Secret Chat mode in community forums. When enabled, your posts are published under a randomly generated alias to protect your identity from other community members.

7. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You maintain complete control over your data. Under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA) and Apple privacy guidelines, you have the right to:

• Access, review, or export your logged personal and health data at any time.
• Correct or update your health records directly in the app.
• Revoke permissions for Apple HealthKit or Third-Party AI processing instantly in app settings.
• Delete your account and all associated personal data directly within the app (`Settings > Delete Account`) or by contacting us.
