At DepthWall, operated by CyborGate, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application works and how we handle your information.

🔒 Your Privacy is Protected: DepthWall is designed with your privacy in mind. The app only requests permissions essential for live wallpaper functionality. Your personal data stays on your device and is never shared with anyone for marketing or advertising purposes.

Information Used by the App

DepthWall may use the following information for app functionality:

• Account Information: When you sign in, we use your email address (via Google / Firebase Authentication) to create your DepthWall account, sync your entitlements (Free / Premium), and apply rate limits fairly.
• Usage Data: Information such as device type, Android version, and basic app usage signals so wallpapers render correctly on your device and we can diagnose crashes.
• Device Information: Device model, screen size, and IP address are used for proper wallpaper display, abuse prevention, and rate-limit enforcement.
• Personal Media: If you choose to import your own photos as a background or foreground for a custom wallpaper, that media is accessed and used solely for rendering the wallpaper on your device.
• Wallpaper Editor Settings: Your editor configuration (clock, date, text, effects, parallax, colors) is stored on your device. When you save or upload a wallpaper to the catalog, the saved configuration is sent to our servers as part of that wallpaper.

Important: Personal media you import (your own photos) and your editor preferences are processed and stored locally on your device only. We do not upload your personal photos to our servers unless you explicitly submit them as part of a wallpaper request or upload.

Third-Party Services

To deliver core features, DepthWall uses the following trusted third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication (Google LLC): Used to sign you in with Google and manage your account session. Only your email address and a unique user ID are exchanged.
• Google Play Billing: Used to process Premium upgrade purchases. Payment details are handled entirely by Google Play; DepthWall never sees or stores your card information.
• Google Play Integrity API: Used to verify that requests come from a genuine, unmodified install of DepthWall in order to protect Premium content and prevent abuse.
• CyborGate backend: Hosts the wallpaper catalog, processes wallpaper requests, applies rate limits, and serves wallpaper assets over a secure (HTTPS) connection.

Data Storage

DepthWall stores most of your data locally on your device. This includes:

• Wallpaper editor configurations and preferences
• Imported background / foreground images for custom wallpapers
• App settings, theme, and customizations
• Recent searches and download cache

On our servers, we keep only the minimum needed to operate the service: your account record (email + user ID), your Premium entitlement, rate-limit counters, and any wallpapers or wallpaper requests you have explicitly submitted to the catalog. When you uninstall the app, all locally stored data on your device is automatically deleted.

Your Data Stays Safe

We are committed to protecting your privacy:

• We do NOT sell or rent your information to anyone
• We do NOT share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising
• We do NOT display third-party advertisements inside DepthWall
• We do NOT access your photos or media without your explicit action
• Account information is used only to provide the service (sign-in, purchases, rate limits)
• All network traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS with certificate pinning

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information.

Data Security

Your data on the device is protected by your device's built-in security features. All communication between DepthWall and our servers (and Google services) uses secure HTTPS connections with certificate pinning to protect your information during transmission.

Your Choices & Data Deletion

You are in control of your data:

• You can sign out of DepthWall at any time from the Settings screen.
• You can clear your local cache (recent searches, downloaded assets) from Settings > Clear Cache.
• You can request deletion of your account and any associated data by emailing us at contact@cyborgate.uk.
• Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
