This Policy applies to the DeepSearch mobile application, any related websites, and official social channels operated by or on behalf of DeepSearch (collectively, "DeepSearch", "Services", or "App").

DeepSearch is a general-purpose AI search and research application designed to help users explore publicly available information across diverse categories including People, Companies, News, Products, Places, Science, Technology, History, and General Topics.

Your access to and use of DeepSearch is governed by this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use ("Terms"). The Terms apply to definitions within this Policy and to provisions not included here. We recommend that you review the Terms of Use to understand the definitions, functions, and features of DeepSearch.

By accessing or using DeepSearch, you agree to the collection and use of information and personal data in accordance with this Policy, and confirm that you have reviewed and understood how we process your information, including your rights. If you do not agree with the Terms or this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App or Services offered by DeepSearch.

Collection of Information and Processing Purposes

We may collect the following information and personal data when you access DeepSearch or otherwise use the App and Services:

• Technical & Device Data — IP address, device logs, device type and model, operating system, app version, and general usage diagnostics — processed to ensure app functionality, detect crashes and errors, conduct technical analysis, comply with applicable law, and maintain data security.
• Subscription & Transaction Data — Subscription plan, billing cycle, transaction status, and payment method type — processed to identify your active plan, manage billing, and provide and improve the Services. Full payment card details are processed directly by Apple App Store; we do not collect or store full credit card numbers.
• Search Queries & Interactions — Search terms, category selections (People, Companies, News, Products, Places, Research, All), and in-app interactions — processed to deliver AI-synthesized search results, generate factual overviews, retrieve public citations, and operate research features.
• People Search Queries & Disambiguation — When researching individuals, queries are processed strictly to discover publicly available web presence and public profiles. We apply automated privacy filtering to prevent compilation of sensitive personal dossiers.
• Locally Stored History — Locally stored search queries and recently viewed public profiles stored strictly on your device so you can revisit research results. You may clear your local search history at any time from within the App settings.

People Search Privacy Standards & Data Boundaries

DeepSearch People Search is strictly designed to find publicly visible web presence and provide a concise informational overview grounded in public web sources.

Our People Search feature does NOT create a comprehensive personal profile, background report, or personal-data dossier. To protect individual privacy, DeepSearch enforces the following strict data boundaries:

• No Private Contact Data — DeepSearch does NOT search for, index, or display private telephone numbers, personal email addresses, or private messaging accounts.
• No Residential Addresses — DeepSearch does NOT display residential street addresses or private real-estate ownership records.
• No Criminal or Court Records — DeepSearch does NOT provide criminal history, arrest logs, legal court proceedings, or background check reports.
• No Financial, Credit, or Asset Dossiers — DeepSearch does NOT process or surface credit scores, bank records, income assessments, or financial background reports.
• No Private Dating or Sensitive Profiles — DeepSearch does NOT scan or present dating profiles, private social accounts, or sensitive personal affiliations.
• Deterministic Privacy Safeguards — Search outputs are automatically filtered to strip sensitive identifiers, confidential data, and private personal records before display.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small text file stored on a user's device by a website or service to collect information about browsing or usage activity. Where DeepSearch is accessed through a website or web-based interface, we may use cookies and similar technologies in the following categories:

• Technical and functional cookies — essential for basic functions and for remembering preferences and settings. These help improve app and website performance and personalization. Some technical processing occurs automatically when you download, access, or use the App.
• Targeting and performance cookies — may collect data on interactions to optimize functionality, improve user experience, and deliver personalized features or marketing where permitted. Where offered on a website version of the Service, cookie preferences may be managed through a cookie banner or settings.

Blocking and Disabling Cookies

Payment Methods

DeepSearch may collect subscription plan, billing information, payment method type, and billing cycle so we can offer paid plans and develop membership options. Payment card and wallet details are processed by Apple or other authorized payment providers available in the App. We do not collect or store full credit card information.

Information Disclosed by Users

In line with data minimization principles under applicable privacy law, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR where applicable, DeepSearch is designed to process only data necessary to operate the App. Information you voluntarily provide through contact forms, support requests, or other communications is treated as user-disclosed data and protected under applicable law and reasonable security measures.

Age Restriction

DeepSearch is not intended for users under the age of 13. If you are under 13, do not use or access the App at any time or in any manner. By using DeepSearch, you affirm that you are at least 13 years old.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to contact us if they believe a child under 13 is using the App. DeepSearch does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") and similar laws, as described in this Policy and the Terms.

• Professional advisers — legal, tax, or financial consultants may receive data where necessary for compliance and advice, limited to what is required.
• Legal authorities — where required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or lawful government request.
• Anonymized data — we may use anonymized or aggregated data for analytics. Anonymized data cannot reasonably be linked back to an identified individual.

AI Use, Source Citations and Accuracy

DeepSearch is an AI-powered search and synthesis tool. Search results, overviews, and insights are generated using advanced artificial intelligence grounded in publicly accessible web data.

Because AI models synthesize large-scale web information, outputs may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. Users should always validate critical information using the direct source citations, reference links, and official websites provided within the App.

DeepSearch displays source references and URLs where available to promote transparency. DeepSearch does not own, endorse, or guarantee third-party website content or external information.

Storage and Data Retention

We are committed to storing personal data securely and in compliance with applicable laws.

• Retention — we retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and as required by law. After that period, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
• Access control — access is limited to authorized personnel and systems that need the data to operate, secure, or improve the Service.
• Data destruction and anonymization — when data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it using appropriate technical measures.
• Local on-device search history — search queries and opened results are saved locally on your device for user convenience and can be cleared at any time in App settings.

Security Measures

We take the security of personal data seriously and implement measures designed to protect it under applicable law, including UK GDPR and EU GDPR requirements where relevant.

Corporate Affiliates and Sale of Business

We reserve the right to transfer information to a third party in connection with a sale, merger, reorganization, or transfer of all or substantially all assets of DeepSearch or any corporate affiliate. "Corporate Affiliate" means any entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with Cyborgate.
