Section 1

Introduction

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. With this Privacy Policy ("Policy"), we explain how Cyborgate ("Cyborgate", "we", "us", or "our") collects and processes your information and personal data when you use DeepSearch, the protection and privacy measures we implement, including your rights.

This Policy applies to the DeepSearch mobile application, any related websites, and official social channels operated by or on behalf of DeepSearch (collectively, "DeepSearch", "Services", or "App").

Your access to and use of DeepSearch is governed by this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use ("Terms"). The Terms apply to definitions within this Policy and to provisions not included here. We recommend that you review the Terms of Use to understand the definitions, functions, and features of DeepSearch.

By accessing or using DeepSearch, you agree to the collection and use of information and personal data in accordance with this Policy, and confirm that you have reviewed and understood how we process your information, including your rights. If you do not agree with the Terms or this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App or Services offered by DeepSearch.

Section 2

Collection of Information and Processing Purposes

We may collect the following information and personal data when you access DeepSearch or otherwise use the App and Services:

  • IP address, device logs, device type and name, operating system, app version, and general usage data — processed to ensure app functionality, detect crashes and errors, conduct technical analysis, comply with applicable law, and maintain technical data security.
  • Subscription plan, billing cycle, billing status, and payment method type — processed to identify your plan, manage billing, plan and offer new subscription options, and provide and improve the Services. We do not collect or store full credit card numbers.
  • Search queries, profile selections, and in-app interactions — processed to deliver AI-powered people-search results, show recently viewed profiles, improve match quality, and operate features such as "Tell me everything", Accounts, Business background, Associates, Locations, and Relationships.
  • Profile feedback and reactions — processed when you confirm whether a result is the correct person or rate content, to improve future search quality.
  • Locally stored search history — processed and stored on your device so you can revisit profiles you opened from search results. You may clear this history from within the App.
Section 3

Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small text file stored on a user's device by a website or service to collect information about browsing or usage activity. Where DeepSearch is accessed through a website or web-based interface, we may use cookies and similar technologies in the following categories:

  • Technical and functional cookies — essential for basic functions and for remembering preferences and settings. These help improve app and website performance and personalization. Some technical processing occurs automatically when you download, access, or use the App.
  • Targeting and performance cookies — may collect data on interactions to optimize functionality, improve user experience, and deliver personalized features or marketing where permitted. Where offered on a website version of the Service, cookie preferences may be managed through a cookie banner or settings.
Section 4

Blocking and Disabling Cookies

You may configure your browser to block cookies and similar technologies, but this may prevent parts of a website from functioning properly and may limit access to certain features. Blocking cookies may also remove saved information such as login details and preferences. Each browser provides different controls for managing cookies. Disabling a cookie does not remove it; you may need to delete it manually from your browser.

Section 5

Marketing Data

Where permitted by law, marketing-related data may be processed to analyze customer interactions, improve performance and features, deliver relevant communications, enhance support, facilitate account management, and support product development. This may include newsletters or updates about DeepSearch and related products. Processing in this category is subject to applicable consent requirements where required.

Section 6

Payment Methods

DeepSearch may collect subscription plan, billing information, payment method type, and billing cycle so we can offer paid plans and develop membership options. Payment card and wallet details are processed by Apple, Google, or other authorized payment providers available in the App. We do not collect or store full credit card information.

Section 7

Information Disclosed by Users

In line with data minimization principles under applicable privacy law, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR where applicable, DeepSearch is designed to process only data necessary to operate the App. Information you voluntarily provide through contact forms, support requests, or other communications is treated as user-disclosed data and protected under applicable law and reasonable security measures.

Section 8

Age Restriction

DeepSearch is not intended for users under the age of 13. If you are under 13, do not use or access the App at any time or in any manner. By using DeepSearch, you affirm that you are at least 13 years old.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to contact us if they believe a child under 13 is using the App. DeepSearch does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") and similar laws, as described in this Policy and the Terms.

Section 9

Sharing of Information

Your personal data will not be sold, traded, or otherwise transferred to third parties for their independent commercial purposes. Your data may be shared only as described below:

  • Cloud, hosting, and IT service providers — to store data, operate infrastructure, detect errors, and deliver the App.
  • AI and search infrastructure providers — to process search requests and generate profile results based on publicly available information.
  • Payment service providers — Apple App Store, Google Play, and related billing partners process subscription payments. We receive subscription status and billing metadata, not full payment card details.
  • Login and platform providers — where social or platform sign-in is offered, services such as Apple, Google, or Facebook may process authentication data under their own policies.
  • Advertising partners — where advertising is used, limited data such as device or IP information may be shared to deliver or measure ads, subject to your device and consent settings.
  • Professional advisers — legal, tax, or financial consultants may receive data where necessary for compliance and advice, limited to what is required.
  • Legal authorities — where required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or lawful government request.
  • Anonymized data — we may use anonymized or aggregated data for analytics. Anonymized data cannot reasonably be linked back to an identified individual.
Section 10

AI Use and Publicly Available Sources

DeepSearch is an AI-powered people-search service. Search results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not up to date. Users should validate information using reference links, sources shown in the App, and independent research.

Because results are generated from public and third-party sources, outputs may not be fully original or unique. If information appears incorrect, incomplete, or outdated, you may use in-app feedback tools to report issues and help us improve the Service.

By using DeepSearch, you may search for information about people and public figures. Such information is drawn from publicly available sources. The App is designed to show source references where available. DeepSearch does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of third-party public data.

Section 11

Storage of Information

We are committed to storing personal data securely and in compliance with applicable laws.

  • Retention — we retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and as required by law. After that period, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
  • Access control — access is limited to authorized personnel and systems that need the data to operate, secure, or improve the Service.
  • Data destruction and anonymization — when data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it using appropriate technical measures.
  • Limited search history — search and recently viewed profile history may be stored locally on your device and may be limited in duration or scope. You can clear history in the App. Refreshing a profile may require conducting a new search.
Section 12

Security Measures

We take the security of personal data seriously and implement measures designed to protect it under applicable law, including UK GDPR and EU GDPR requirements where relevant.

  • Access controls limiting data to authorized systems and personnel.
  • Technical safeguards for data in transit and at rest where applicable.
  • Data minimization — collecting only what is needed for stated purposes.
  • Incident response procedures to address suspected breaches or security events.
Section 13

Your Responsibility

No digital environment can be guaranteed fully secure. We encourage users to use updated devices, secure networks, and appropriate device protections when accessing DeepSearch. If you believe your data or account security has been compromised, contact us promptly at contact@cyborgate.uk.

Section 14

Corporate Affiliates and Sale of Business

We reserve the right to transfer information to a third party in connection with a sale, merger, reorganization, or transfer of all or substantially all assets of DeepSearch or any corporate affiliate. "Corporate Affiliate" means any entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with Cyborgate. Any information transferred will remain subject to this Policy or a successor policy providing comparable protection.

Section 15

Rights Under GDPR and UK Data Protection Law

Where applicable, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access — obtain confirmation of processing and a copy of your personal data.
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — request deletion in certain circumstances.
  • Right to restrict processing — request limitation of processing in specific situations.
  • Right to data portability — receive certain data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — object to certain processing, including direct marketing where applicable.
  • Rights related to automated decision-making — not to be subject solely to automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, where applicable.
Section 16

Exercising Your Rights

To exercise these rights, email contact@cyborgate.uk with the right you wish to enforce, your name, and accurate contact details. We will respond within the time period required by applicable law.

Section 17

Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices, legal obligations, or operational needs. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the latest revision. Updates take effect when posted in the App or otherwise made available. If you do not agree with an update, discontinue use of DeepSearch. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
